DRDO Paid Internship 2025: India's Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) is offering paid internship opportunities. The Defence Geoinformatics Research Establishment (DGRE), a premier laboratory of the DRDO, has invited applications for a six-month internship. The internship will begin on January 1, 2026, and students will receive notification in the last week of December 2025. This opportunity is available in Computer Science and Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Remote Sensing/Geoinformatics, with a stipend of ₹5,000 for each.
DRDO Paid Internship 2025: Eligibility Criteria
Students pursuing a full-time graduate/postgraduate course in engineering and science from a recognized Indian university/institute in a relevant subject are eligible to apply. Those with more than 75% marks or a GPA of 7.5 are eligible to apply. Selection will be based on the CGPA/percentage of marks in all previous semesters/years and, as required, an online/telephonic interview/interview, subject to satisfactory document verification. The age limit is 28 years.
Stipend will be paid in two installments.
Students should note that payment will be made in two installments—one after the three-month internship and the other after six months. You will be required to work at least 15 days per month, and upon successful completion, students will receive a certificate.
