Defense Research and Development Organization has released a recruitment for 80 posts. For which candidates can apply by visiting the official site?

Defense Metallurgical Research Laboratory (DMRL) of Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) has brought a great opportunity for ITI pass youth. Under this recruitment, apprentices will be appointed on a total of 80 posts. These include 2 posts of welder, 5 of turner, 10 of machinist, 12 of fitter, 6 of electronics, 12 of electrician, 30 of computer operator and programming assistant, 2 of carpenter and 1 of photographer.

Essential educational qualification

Talking about educational qualification, the candidate must have an ITI degree from an institute recognized by NCVT/SCVT. Only regular candidates can apply. Those who have already completed training under the Apprenticeship Act 1961 will not be eligible to apply in this recruitment.

Age limit

The age limit will be decided as per the apprenticeship rules. There will be no examination in the selection process, rather the candidates will be selected on the basis of merit. Selected candidates will also be given stipend as per the apprenticeship rules.

Required Documents

While applying, candidates will need Police Verification Certificate, Conduct and Character Certificate of previous institute, Physical Fitness Certificate, SSC (10th) Certificate, ITI Certificate, Caste Certificate (if applicable), PWD Certificate (if applicable), Copy of Bank Passbook, Aadhar Card and Passport Size Photo. No application fee will be required for this recruitment process.

First of all, candidates go to apprenticeshipindia.gov.in. After this, click on the Establishment section of "Defence Metallurgical Research Laboratory". Register by clicking on the apply link and then fill the application form by logging in. Submit the form after paying the required fee. Finally download the form and take a printout of it for further need.
