DRDO DEAL Apprentice Vacancy: The Defence Electronics Applications Laboratory (DEAL) of the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has released a notification for apprentice recruitment for the 2026-27 session.
Through this recruitment drive, candidates holding Graduate, Diploma, and ITI qualifications will be provided with one year of apprenticeship training. Applications are invited for disciplines such as Electronics & Communication, Mechanical, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Library Science, and various ITI trades.
What are the educational qualifications required?

Graduate Apprentice (G-1 to G-4) | B.E./B.Tech. or equivalent degree in the relevant engineering branch; minimum 60% marks required.
Graduate Apprentice (G-5 - Library Science) | B.Sc. (PCM/PCB) and B.Lib./BLISc.; minimum 60% marks required in both.
Diploma Apprentice (D-1 to D-4) | Diploma in the relevant engineering/technology field; minimum 60% marks required.
ITI Apprentice (I-1 to I-21) | Must have passed ITI in the relevant trade; possession of an NCVT/SCVT certificate is mandatory.
How will the selection take place?
In the first stage, candidates are shortlisted. Selection may be based on academic qualifications, a written test, an interview, or a combination of these methods.
The second stage involves document verification. Candidates are required to submit all original documents along with a set of self-attested photocopies to verify their details.
