Who can apply for this DRDO recruitment?
Library & Information Science: Candidates must hold a graduation degree from a recognized board/university, along with a degree/diploma in Library and Information Science (1-year course).
Computer Science: Candidates must hold a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Computer Science or a 3-year diploma in Computer Science.
Photography/Videography: Candidates must hold a 3-year diploma or an ITI certificate in Videography or Photography.
Year of Degree Completion: Only candidates who completed their degree in 2024 or 2025 are eligible to apply for the DRDO apprenticeship. Candidates who completed their degree prior to 2024 or those holding a postgraduate (PG) degree are not eligible.
Age Limit: Candidates must not exceed 28 years of age as of the date of the written exam or interview. However, age relaxation is provided: 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates.
Experience: No prior experience is required for the apprenticeship. Candidates who have completed their college education and obtained a degree can join DRDO directly.
