DPCC Recruitment 2026: The Delhi Pollution Control Committee (DPCC) has issued a notification for the recruitment of Group ‘A’ engineering posts. This recruitment will be conducted on a regular basis. A total of 17 posts—comprising Senior Environmental Engineer, Environmental Engineer, and Assistant Environmental Engineer—will be filled under this drive.
Candidates selected for these posts will receive a salary ranging from Level 10 to Level 12, in accordance with the 7th Pay Commission. Notably, the application process is entirely offline; candidates must fill out the prescribed application form and submit it via registered post, speed post, or in person.

Of the four Senior Environmental Engineer posts, 3 are for the UR (Unreserved) category, and 1 is for the Delhi OBC (NCL) category. Of the two Environmental Engineer posts, 1 is for the UR category, and 1 is for the Delhi OBC (NCL) category.
Of the 11 Assistant Environmental Engineer posts, 9 are for Delhi OBC (NCL), 1 is for PwD (Persons with Disabilities) Category A, and 1 is for Category B.
What are the reservation rules for the AEE post?
Candidates should pay special attention to the Assistant Environmental Engineer posts. The vacancies available for this post are reserved for Delhi OBC (NCL) and PwD candidates. Therefore, candidates belonging to the UR, SC, ST, or EWS categories will not be eligible to apply for this post.
Under the Persons with Disabilities (PwD) categories:
Category A: Deaf and hard-of-hearing candidates.

How will the selection take place, and how are marks awarded?
The DPCC has established a 100-mark evaluation system to shortlist candidates. Marks will be awarded based on academic performance, higher qualifications, experience, UPSC selection, GATE rank, and the interview.

How will marks for academic qualifications be awarded?
For the qualifying degree, 0.25 marks will be awarded for every percentage point scored above 60%. A maximum of 10 marks will be awarded under this category. For instance, securing 70% marks would yield 2.5 marks. For higher qualifications:
PhD: 10 marks
Master’s Degree: 5 marks
The 5 marks for a Master’s degree will be awarded only if it is not the prescribed basic qualification for the post.
How are marks awarded for experience?
A maximum of 25 marks are allocated for experience. Marks vary based on the level of the organization where the experience was gained.

The closing date for applications will be the crucial date for determining minimum eligibility regarding experience. However, time spent on full-time studies, fellowships, or PhD research will not be counted as experience.
On what basis are marks awarded for private sector experience?
The DPCC has classified experience into four categories based on government pay levels, public sector pay scales, and private sector CTC (Cost to Company).
Category A: Level 12 CDA/IDA E-6 or CTC of at least ₹30 lakh
Category B: Level 11 CDA/IDA E-4 or CTC of at least ₹25 lakh
Category C: Level 10 CDA/IDA E-3 or CTC of at least ₹20 lakh
Category D: Level 6 CDA/IDA E-0 or CTC of at least ₹15 lakh
How are marks awarded for UPSC and GATE?
Candidates selected for a post at Level 10 or above through UPSC for technical or engineering positions will be awarded 20 marks. This includes selections such as the Engineering Services Examination and technical posts in the Indian Army. A maximum of 20 marks will be awarded based on the GATE All India Rank:
