SSC Delhi Police Constable Recruitment 2025: There's great news for 12th-pass candidates preparing for a job in the Delhi Police. The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has opened the application process for 7,565 male and female Constable (Executive) positions under the Delhi Police Constable Recruitment 2025. Of these, 5,069 positions are reserved for men and 2,496 for women. The application deadline is October 21, 2025, while the fee payment deadline is October 22. Candidates will have the opportunity to make corrections to their applications from October 29 to 31.
How many positions are reserved and for which categories?
Under this recruitment drive, 4,408 positions are reserved for male candidates, 285 for male ex-servicemen, 376 for ex-servicemen commandos, and 2,496 for women. Of the total 7,565 posts, 3,174 are reserved for the General category, 756 for the EWS, 1,608 for the OBC, 1,386 for the SC, and 641 for the ST category.
Eligibility Criteria
The minimum educational qualification required for Delhi Police Constable Recruitment 2025 is 10+2 (Intermediate). However, for Bandsmen, Buglers, Mounted Constables, Drivers, Dispatch Riders, and sons of police officers, the 11th pass is also considered. Male candidates must have a valid LMV (motorcycle or car) driving license.
Regarding the age limit, candidates must be between 18 and 25 years of age as of July 1, 2025. Age relaxation will be provided to reserved category candidates as per government regulations.
Selection Process
The selection process for Delhi Police Constable Recruitment will begin with a Computer-Based Written Test (CBT). Candidates will then undergo a Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Measurement Test (PMT), as well as a medical test. It is important to note that the final selection will be based solely on the written exam scores, as the PET and PMT will be qualifying in nature.
Written Exam Pattern
The written exam will consist of a total of 100 questions, each carrying 1 mark. This will include 50 questions on general knowledge, 25 questions on reasoning, 15 questions on numerical ability, and 10 questions on computer knowledge. Negative marking will also apply, meaning 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
Physical Test Rules
According to the physical test rules, male candidates will be required to complete a 1600-meter run in 6 minutes, as well as a 14-foot long jump and a 3.9-foot high jump. Female candidates will be required to complete a 1600-meter run in 8 minutes, a 10-foot long jump, and a 3-foot high jump.

Pay Scale and Fees
As per the pay scale, selected candidates will receive a salary of ₹21,700 to ₹69,100 per month under Level 3. The application fee is ₹100 for General and OBC male candidates only. Women, SC/ST candidates, and eligible ex-servicemen are exempted. The application fee can be paid only through online means such as net banking, BHIM UPI, and debit/credit cards.
