Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board i.e. DSSSB, has issued a notification for recruitment to 1180 posts of Assistant Teacher in primary schools of the capital. This is a golden opportunity for all the candidates who dream of becoming a teachers. The application process has been kept in online mode, and candidates can apply directly by visiting the official website of DSSSB dsssb.delhi.gov.in.

There are a total of 1180 seats in this recruitment. Of these, the maximum posts have been kept under the Directorate of Education, where 1055 posts will be recruited. At the same time, 125 posts have been released for New Delhi Municipal Corporation i.e. NDMC. The application process for recruitment will start from 17 September and will continue till 16 October.

Necessary qualification

Now if we talk about qualification, then to apply for these posts, the candidate must have passed 12th with at least 50 percent marks from a recognized board. Apart from this, it is mandatory to have a degree of D.El.Ed i.e. Diploma in Elementary Education. The most important thing is that the candidate should also have a valid certificate of CTET, only then the application will be considered valid.

Age limit

The age limit has also been fixed. The maximum age for this recruitment has been kept at 30 years. However, SC, ST, OBC and other reserved category candidates will be given age relaxation as per the rules of the government.

How much is the application fee?

As far as the fee is concerned, general category candidates will have to pay Rs 100 as application fee. But for women, as well as SC, ST and Divyang candidates, this application has been kept completely free.

How much salary?

Now the most important question, how much will be the salary after getting the job? So let us tell you that the selected assistant teachers will get salary according to the 7th Pay Commission, which can start from Rs 35,400 and go up to Rs 1,12,400 per month.
