The Central University of Rajasthan has released a rolling recruitment advertisement for the positions of Professor and Assistant Professor. Interested and eligible candidates can apply by March 15, 2026, by visiting the official website, curaj.ac.in. A total of 08 positions will be filled under this recruitment.

Qualifications for Professor
For the position of Professor, a candidate must possess a PhD in the relevant subject. Additionally, the candidate must have published at least 10 research papers in reputable and recognized journals. Applicants must also have a minimum of 10 years of teaching or research experience at a recognized university/institution. All qualifications must meet the UGC standards.
Eligibility for Assistant Professor
For the position of Assistant Professor, candidates must possess a Master's degree with at least 55% marks in the relevant subject. Additionally, candidates must pass the National Eligibility Test (NET). However, candidates with a PhD in the relevant subject will be exempted from the NET as per UGC regulations.
What is the salary?
At Central University of Rajasthan, the salary for the position of Professor is set at Pay Level 14, ranging from ₹1,44,200 to ₹2,18,200 per month, while for the position of Assistant Professor, the salary is set at Pay Level 10, ranging from ₹57,700 to ₹1,81,400 per month. In the selection process, candidates will be shortlisted based on presentations/seminars and interviews.
