The Central University of Himachal Pradesh has initiated the recruitment process for teaching positions by issuing Employment Notice No. 001/2026. Qualifications and Eligibility
For the post of Professor, candidates are required to possess a Ph.D. degree in the relevant subject and have a minimum of 10 years of teaching or research experience. Additionally, a strong record of research work and publications is mandatory.

For the post of Associate Professor, a Master's degree with a minimum of 55% marks, along with a Ph.D. and 8 years of experience, is required.

For the post of Assistant Professor, a Master's degree with a minimum of 55% marks, along with a pass in the NET/SET/SLET examination, is mandatory. For certain technical disciplines, degrees such as B.Tech/M.Tech is also considered valid.

Salary Details
Selected candidates will receive an attractive salary package. Professors will be offered a salary ranging from ₹1.44 Lakhs to ₹2.18 Lakhs; Associate Professors will receive a salary exceeding ₹1.31 Lakhs; and Assistant Professors will be paid a salary ranging from ₹57,700 to ₹1.82 Lakhs.

First, candidates are required to create a profile and subsequently, select the relevant position to apply. After providing all the necessary details, the application fee must be submitted, and a printout of the completed form should be retained for future reference.

Application Fee
For this recruitment drive, the application fee has been set at ₹1,750 for candidates belonging to the General, OBC, and EWS categories, while it has been fixed at ₹1,500 for SC, ST, and female candidates.
