The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research-Central Scientific Instruments Organisation (CSIR-CSIO) has invited applications for various posts, including Security Officer. The vacancies announced by CSIR-CSIO include one post for Security Officer (Group-B), one for Receptionist (Group-B), and four for Driver (Group-C).

**Required Qualifications**

**Security Officer**
For the post of Security Officer, applications are invited from Ex-Servicemen JCOs (Subedar rank or higher) with at least 10 years of experience in the security sector, or personnel who have served at an equivalent rank in paramilitary forces.

**Short Service Commissioned Officers**
Additionally, Short Service Commissioned Officers and individuals who have served as Assistant Commandants in forces like CRPF, BSF, or ITBP (with a pre-revised pay scale of ₹8,000–₹13,500) require 5 years of experience, while Inspectors in paramilitary forces require 10 years of experience.

**Receptionist**
Candidates applying for the post of Receptionist must hold a graduation degree and possess two years of relevant experience working as a receptionist in a government organization, autonomous body, or public sector undertaking.

Driver
For the Driver post, candidates must possess a valid driving license for LMV (Light Motor Vehicle) and HMV (Heavy Motor Vehicle), have practical knowledge of motor mechanics (capable of fixing minor vehicle faults), have at least 3 years of experience driving motor cars, and have passed the 10th standard.

Age Requirement
The maximum age limit is set at 35 years for the Security Officer post, 28 years for the Receptionist post, and 27 years for the Driver post, calculated as of the application deadline. Candidates belonging to reserved categories will be granted relaxation in the maximum age limit as per the rules.

Selection Process
Eligible candidates will be selected based on the screening and shortlisting of applications, a physical test, a written examination, a skill test, and a final merit list. Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary ranging from ₹19,900 to ₹1,42,400, depending on the post.

Payment Method
While filling out the application form, candidates must pay the prescribed application fee online based on their category; the fee is set at ₹590 for General, OBC, and EWS candidates. Candidates belonging to SC, ST, PwBD, ESM, and female categories are exempt from the registration fee.
