CRPF Recruitment 2026: Recruitment announced for Constable and Head Constable posts in CRPF; applications to be accepted from this date..

The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) has issued a notification to recruit for the Head Constable (GD) and Constable (GD) posts. According to the notification, this recruitment will be conducted under the sports quota, with the application process commencing on October 12. Eligible candidates can apply online via the official website, rect.crpf.gov.in. The deadline for submitting the application form is November 11, 2026. A window for correcting any errors in the application form will be available from November 12 to November 24, 2026.

**Recruitment Details**
A total of 521 vacancies will be filled through this recruitment drive. Of these, 182 posts are reserved for Head Constable (GD) and 339 posts for Constable (GD).

**Eligibility and Criteria**
Candidates must have passed Class 10 for the Constable post and Class 12 for the Head Constable (GD) post. Additionally, they must have represented their team in the relevant sport.

**Sports Eligibility**
Candidates must have represented a state or union territory in international-level sports competitions or national games/championships. They must have won a medal (securing at least the third position) in National Games organized by the IOA. Alternatively, they must have won a medal or secured the third position in events such as Inter-University tournaments, Junior/Senior National Games/Championships, State School Teams, All India Police Games, Inter-University Games, Khelo India Youth Games, or Khelo India Winter Games. Candidates who have won a gold or silver medal for their university in Inter-University tournaments or championships are also eligible.

**Age Limit**
To participate in this recruitment, candidates must be between 18 and 23 years of age. Candidates belonging to reserved categories will be granted relaxation in the upper age limit. The age calculation will be based on August 1, 2026. 

Selection Process and Salary
Candidates applying for this recruitment will have to undergo an identity check, document verification, Physical Standard Test (PST), sports trial test, medical examination (ME), and review medical examination (RME) as part of the selection process.

Candidates selected for the post of Head Constable (General Duty) – Sportsperson will receive a monthly salary ranging from ₹25,500 to ₹81,100 (Level 4), while those selected for the post of Constable (General Duty) – Sportsperson will receive a monthly salary ranging from ₹21,700 to ₹69,100.
