CQAE (MS) Recruitment 2026: The Directorate General of Quality Assurance, Main Quality Assurance Establishment (MS), Mumbai, under the Ministry of Defence, Government of India, has invited applications for recruitment to a number of positions. Interested and eligible candidates should submit their completed applications offline, i.e., by registered post or speed post, to CQAE (MS), Mumbai, within 28 days from the date of publication of the advertisement in the Employment News.

Five posts of Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS), three posts of Lower Division Clerk (LDC), and one post of Superintendent (Stores) are vacant, for which applications are invited.

Pass 10th to Apply
Metric: Candidates must have passed Matriculation (10th pass) or its equivalent examination.

LDC (Lower Division Clerk): Candidates must have passed the 12th grade and must have a typing speed of 35 words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi on a computer.

Superintendent (Stores): Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent, completed a certificate course in materials management, and have at least two years of experience in storekeeping or accounting.

How will the selection be conducted?
Selection will be conducted in several stages. First, there will be an objective-type written examination. This will be followed by a skill test for the LDC position, which will be of a qualifying nature only. Following the written examination and skill test, document verification will be conducted, followed by a medical examination of the selected candidates. The final merit list will be prepared solely based on the candidates' performance in the written examination.

Salary?
Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) will be paid a salary ranging from ₹18,000 to ₹56,900 under Pay Level-1.
Lower Division Clerks (LDCs) will be paid a salary ranging from ₹19,900 to ₹63,200 under Level-2.
Superintendent (Stores) will be given a pay scale of Rs 25,500 to Rs 81,000 as per Level-4.
