CGPSC ADPO Recruitment 2026: The Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission (CGPSC) has initiated the application process for the recruitment of Assistant District Public Prosecution Officers (ADPO) for law graduates. Who Can Apply?
Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess an LLB degree from a university or institute recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC). Candidates currently awaiting their final results are not eligible to apply.
Age Limit (As of January 1, 2026)
Minimum Age: 21 years
Maximum Age for Chhattisgarh Domicile Holders: 40 years
Maximum Age for Candidates from Other States: 30 years
Selection Process
The recruitment process will be conducted in two stages.
1. Written Examination (300 Marks)
The written examination will be of the objective type, and the duration will be 3 hours. Part-1: General Knowledge

This section will cover questions related to the history, geography, and current affairs of Chhattisgarh.
Part-2: Law
100 Questions
200 Marks
This section will include questions on major and minor acts, as well as new criminal laws such as the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), and Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam (BSA).
2. Interview (30 Marks)
Candidates who score above the prescribed cut-off in the written examination will be called for an interview. The Commission will invite candidates numbering approximately three times the available vacancies for the interview.
The final merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained in both the written examination and the interview.
What is the salary?
Selected candidates will receive a salary under Pay Matrix Level-9.
Pay Scale: ₹38,100 to ₹1,20,400 per month.
Additionally, Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), and medical facilities will be provided in accordance with state government rules. Appointed candidates must complete a mandatory 3-year probation period before being confirmed permanently in the department.

The Commission has clarified that portal charges and GST will be added separately at the time of online payment. An additional fee of ₹500 will be charged for making changes to the application during the paid correction window.
