CDAC Recruitment 2026: An excellent opportunity has emerged for young individuals and experienced professionals aspiring to build a career in the technical sector. The Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) has announced recruitment for various positions across its 11 different centers located throughout the country. In total, 951 vacancies are to be filled on a contract basis.

Educational Qualifications and Age Limits for Various Positions
Under this recruitment drive, appointments will be made in both technical and administrative domains. The vacancies encompass a wide range of positions—from Project Associate and Project Engineer (suitable for freshers) to Senior Project Engineer, Project Manager, Administrative Assistant, and Project Technician.
Who Can Apply?
For most technical positions, candidates must hold a B.E./B.Tech degree (or an equivalent qualification) from a recognized institution (approved by AICTE/UGC) with a minimum aggregate score of 60%. At certain centers, a minimum score of 50% is also considered acceptable for the position of Project Associate.
Additionally, candidates holding a postgraduate degree in Science or Computer Applications, an M.E./M.Tech, or a Ph.D. are also eligible to apply. For Administrative/Support Staff positions, a bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% marks, along with relevant work experience, is mandatory.
Age Limit: Depending on the specific position, the prescribed minimum and maximum age limits range from 30 to 56 years. In accordance with government regulations, age relaxations will be granted as follows: 5 years for candidates belonging to the SC/ST categories; 3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates; and as per applicable rules for Persons with Disabilities (PwD) and Ex-Servicemen.
