CBSE recruitment 2025: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced a major recruitment drive on December 2, 2025. A total of 124 vacancies are available for various Group A, B, and C positions. What are the positions?
This recruitment includes eight Assistant Secretary positions. There are 27 Assistant Professor and Assistant Director positions across various branches. There are two Accounting Officer positions. Group B includes 27 Superintendent positions and nine Junior Translation Officer positions. Group C includes 16 Junior Accountant positions and 35 Junior Assistant positions. Who can fill out the form?
If you've passed 12th grade and have a good typing speed, you can apply for the Junior Assistant and Junior Accountant positions. If you're a graduate and know how to use a computer, you can apply for the Superintendent position. An MA in Hindi or English with some translation experience or a diploma can become a Junior Translation Officer. Those with a Commerce or CA/MBA can apply for the Accounts Officer position. A graduation in any subject is also open to becoming an Assistant Secretary. A Master's degree with 55% marks is required for an Assistant Professor.
What is the age limit?
The maximum age requirement for Assistant Secretary and Accounts Officer is 35 years, for Assistant Professor, Superintendent, and Junior Translation Officer is 30 years, while for Junior Accountant and Junior Assistant, the age limit is up to 27 years. Those with reservations will also receive exemptions.
How much will the form cost?
For Group A, General, OBC, and EWS candidates will have to pay ₹1,750. Other categories and women will only have to pay ₹250. For Group B and C, General/OBC/EWS candidates will have to pay only Rs. 1050, while others will have to pay only Rs. 250. The form will be free for CBSE's own employees.
How will the exam be conducted?
First, there will be a Tier-1 (prelims) exam, which will be common for most posts. Then, there will be a Tier-2 main exam, which will cover subjects related to the post. Finally, there will be an interview or skill test/typing test. Those who pass will secure a permanent job.

Filling the form has started on December 2, 2025, and the deadline is December 22, 2025, until 11:59 pm.
