CBSE has announced recruitment for 124 posts in the non-teaching category. Applications have started from December 2, 2025, and the last date for submission of forms is December 2, 2025. Candidates can apply online for Assistant Secretary, Superintendent, Junior Assistant, Junior Accountant, and other posts. The application link is available on cbse.gov.in.

Qualifications vary by position. For some positions, even 12th-grade pass candidates can apply, while for many positions, a minimum of 55% marks in graduation or post-graduation are required. For accounting and finance positions, a degree in Commerce, Economics, Finance, CA, ICWA, or MBA is required. For Hindi positions, a Master's degree in Hindi is required. For Junior Assistants and Accountants, a typing speed of 35 words per minute in English and 30 words per minute in Hindi is required.

The age limit is 18 to 35 years. Reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per the rules.

The selection process will consist of Tier 1 and Tier 2 exams. Both exams will be conducted in MCQ format, and interviews may be conducted for some positions. For many positions, direct selection will be made through a written exam.

The application fee is ₹250 for SC, ST, PwBD, women, and ex-servicemen, while for unreserved OBC and EWS candidates, the fee is ₹1,750. CBSE employees will not be charged any fees.

Tier 1 exam will be of 450 marks and 2 hours time will be given. 1 mark will be deducted for wrong answer. In this, questions will be asked from GK, Current Affairs, Reasoning, Maths, Hindi, English and Computer. Tier 2 exam will also be of 2 hours. It will include History, Geography, Economy, Constitution, Public Administration, Current Affairs and English Comprehension.
