The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued an important alert for job aspirants across the country. The application deadline for CBSE Recruitment 2025 is today, December 27, 2025. Eligible and interested candidates can apply for 124 vacancies across Group A, Group B, and Group C posts only until 11:59 PM tonight. After this deadline, no new applications will be accepted under any circumstances.

Candidates who have already submitted their application forms will, however, get a final opportunity to make limited corrections. CBSE has announced a two-day correction window, which will be available from December 29 to December 30, 2025, closing at 11:59 PM on the last day.

CBSE Vacancy 2025: Key Details at a Glance

CBSE invited online applications for various administrative and support roles under different groups. With the last date arriving today, candidates who are yet to apply are advised not to delay any further. Once the application window closes, only correction-related changes will be allowed for already registered candidates.

The correction window will not open immediately after the application deadline. Instead, it will be activated on December 29, 2025, and remain open for exactly two days. Candidates must use this period carefully, as no further opportunity for corrections will be provided.

What Can Be Corrected During the CBSE Correction Window?

CBSE has clearly specified which details candidates are allowed to modify during the correction period. Using the correction window, applicants can fix minor but important errors in the following fields:

  • Spelling mistakes in the candidate’s name or parents’ names (as per Class 10 certificates)

  • Gender and nationality details, if entered incorrectly

  • Educational qualifications

  • Uploaded photograph and signature, in case they are unclear or incorrect

Additionally, candidates applying for multiple posts under DRQ 2026 or Group A, B, and C categories can adjust their application fee through the correction window. However, such changes will be considered final only after paying the additional fee, and it is important to note that extra payments will not be refunded under any condition.

Details That Cannot Be Edited

While the correction window allows limited flexibility, CBSE has strictly prohibited changes to certain key details. Candidates will not be permitted to modify the following information:

  • Registered mobile number

  • Email ID

  • Application number

  • Date of birth

  • Category or sub-category

  • Examination city or center preference

  • Identity proof details such as Aadhaar number, passport number, or voter ID

  • Correspondence address or permanent address

Applicants are advised to review their submitted forms carefully before the correction window opens, as attempting to change restricted fields will not be possible.

Important Instructions for Candidates

Only those candidates who have successfully submitted their application along with the application fee will be eligible to use the correction window. Incomplete or unpaid applications will not be considered for corrections.

CBSE has emphasized that this correction facility is a one-time opportunity, and candidates should ensure all permitted changes are made accurately within the given time frame. For the latest updates, applicants should regularly visit the official CBSE recruitment website.

Helpline Numbers and Email Support

To assist candidates with queries related to the recruitment process, correction window, or fee adjustment, CBSE has provided dedicated contact details:

  • Phone Numbers: 011-24050353, 011-24050354

Why This Recruitment Is Important

CBSE recruitment offers a stable government job environment with competitive pay, job security, and growth opportunities. With vacancies spread across multiple groups, this drive caters to candidates from different educational and professional backgrounds.

As today marks the final day to apply, eligible candidates should complete their applications without delay. Those who have already applied must stay alert and make use of the correction window starting December 29 to avoid issues during later stages of the recruitment process.

Keeping track of deadlines and official instructions will be crucial to successfully moving forward in CBSE Vacancy 2025.
