Candidates have until today, June 22, 2026, to apply for apprenticeship positions at the Central Bank of India (CBI). Those wishing to undergo apprenticeship training at CBI can register online via the official website. This recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 4,500 apprenticeship vacancies.
**Age Limit**
The prescribed age limit for applicants is a minimum of 20 years and a maximum of 28 years. Additionally, age relaxations will be granted to candidates from specific categories: 5 years for SC/ST candidates, 3 years for OBC candidates, and 10 years for candidates with disabilities (PwD).
**Educational Qualification**
To apply, candidates must hold a bachelor's degree from a recognized institution in India.
**Selection Process**
Candidates will be selected based on a written examination and a local language test. The written examination will consist of 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) worth 100 marks, covering subjects such as General and Financial Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, Computer Knowledge, and English. The exam duration is set at one hour. There is no provision for negative marking for incorrect answers. Candidates shortlisted in the written exam will be called for the local language test.
**Monthly Stipend**
Candidates selected for the apprenticeship will receive a monthly stipend of ₹15,000. This stipend will be provided for a duration of one year.
**Registration Fee**
Male candidates belonging to the General, EWS, and OBC categories are required to pay ₹800 (covering both examination and intimation fees), while female candidates from these categories must pay ₹600. Candidates belonging to SC, ST, and PwD categories are exempted from the examination fee; however, they are required to pay an intimation fee of ₹200.
