Who can apply?
Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in any discipline for the apprentice post.
The degree must be from a university recognized by the Government of India.
Candidates possessing an equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government may also apply.
Educational qualifications will be reckoned as of September 1, 2026.
What is the required age?
Candidates must be between 20 and 28 years of age.
For age calculation, the candidate's date of birth must not be earlier than September 2, 1998, and not later than September 1, 2006 (both dates inclusive).
How will the selection take place?
Candidates will be selected based on a merit list prepared using the percentage of marks obtained in Class 12 or the diploma.
This will be followed by a local language test and document verification.
The local language proficiency test will be conducted by the bank at the time candidates are called for document verification.
Candidates who do not qualify in the local language test will not be appointed as apprentices.
What is the stipend?
Candidates selected as apprentices will receive a monthly stipend of ₹16,650.
What is the duration of the apprenticeship training?
The training period for selected apprentices will be 12 months. Candidates will receive on-the-job training at selected bank branches in accordance with the prescribed curriculum.
