How many vacancies are there, and where can I apply?
UKPSC has announced a total of 808 vacancies. These include 725 positions in the General Branch and 83 positions in the Women's Branch. To apply, candidates must visit the official UKPSC website, psc.uk.gov.in.

Application Dates
The online application process started on December 31, 2025, and will continue until January 20, 2026. Candidates are advised not to wait until the last date and to apply on time.

Lecturer Recruitment 2026: Selection Process
The recruitment process will consist of two stages: a written examination and document verification. A merit list will be prepared based on the written examination and document verification. The examination will include subjects such as Hindi, English, Sanskrit, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, Civics, Economics, History, Geography, Sociology, Commerce, Arts, Agriculture, and Home Science.

Lecturer Recruitment 2026: What are the eligibility criteria?
The candidate must have a postgraduate degree in the relevant subject.
A B.Ed. or L.T. diploma from a recognized institution is also mandatory.
The minimum age is 21 years, and the maximum age is 42 years.
Reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per government rules.
