The Assam State Level Police Recruitment Board (SLPRB) has released a notification for bumper recruitments in the Forest Department, Assam Police, and Fire Services for the year 2026. Along with these, there are 74 posts for Game Watcher, 41 for Emergency Rescuer, 11 for Bandsman, 10 for Kewat (Boatman), and 2 for Bugler. There is also one post each for Constable (UB) and Sub-Officer.

What are the eligibility criteria?
For Forester (Grade I), a graduate degree is required. For technical posts like Constable (WO/WT) and Sub-Officer, PCM (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics) in High School with Science subjects is mandatory. Candidates who have passed 12th grade can apply for Forest Guard, Game Watcher, and Constable (UB). For AFPF Constable, Bandsman, and Bugler, passing 10th grade is sufficient. Knowledge of swimming is required for the Kewat post.

What is the salary?
Selected candidates will receive a salary ranging from Rs. 12,000 to Rs. 70,000 under Pay Band 1 and Pay Band 2. Along with the salary, grade pay, DA, HRA, and other government benefits will also be provided.
