The Bihar Technical Service Commission (BTSC) is accepting applications from candidates for 493 Work Inspector positions. This is a golden opportunity for candidates who wish to apply for these positions. The last date to apply is January 12th. All candidates are advised to complete the application process before the deadline.

Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the Work Inspector positions, candidates must have passed Class 10th from a recognized institution in India. In addition, candidates must possess an ITI certificate.

The minimum age to apply for these positions is 18 years. The maximum age limit is 37 years for general category candidates, 40 years for female candidates, and 42 years for SC and ST candidates.

Application Fee
All candidates are required to pay an application fee. The application fee is Rs. 100 for all categories of candidates.

Selection Process
Candidates will be selected based on a written examination. The written examination will consist of 100 marks and will include questions from subjects such as Wireman, Electrician, Mathematics, and General Knowledge. The exam will be conducted in computer-based mode. There will be a negative marking of one-fourth of a mark for each incorrect answer. Candidates who qualify in the written examination will be called for document verification.

In the written examination, general category candidates must secure 40 percent marks, backward class candidates 36 percent marks, extremely backward class candidates 34 percent marks, and SC and ST candidates 32 percent marks.
