**Who can apply?**
For the BTSC Touring Veterinary Officer and equivalent posts, candidates must possess a BVSc or BVSc & AH degree from a university recognized by the Veterinary Council of India.
Additionally, permanent registration with the Bihar Veterinary Council is mandatory. All educational certificates, mark sheets, and registration certificates required for the application must have been issued on or before October 23, 2026.
**Age Limit Criteria**
Candidates must be at least 21 years of age as of August 1, 2026. The maximum age limit is 37 years for unreserved male candidates, 40 years for unreserved female candidates, 40 years for male and female candidates belonging to BC/EBC categories, and 42 years for male and female candidates belonging to SC/ST categories. Age will be calculated as of August 1, 2026.
What is the salary?
Candidates selected for the posts of BTSC Touring Veterinary Officer and equivalent positions will receive a salary in the range of ₹53,100 to ₹1,67,800 under Pay Level-9. Additionally, benefits of admissible allowances will be provided as per rules.
