BSSC Recruitment 2025: A golden opportunity has come up for 10th pass youth looking for government jobs in Bihar. Bihar Staff Selection Commission (BSSC) has invited applications for recruitment to a total of 3727 posts of Office Attendant. Interested candidates can apply online from 25 August 2025 by visiting the commission's website bssc.bihar.gov.in or onlinebssc.com. The last date for application has been fixed as 24 September 2025.
Details of vacancies, department-wise
Under this recruitment drive, the vacant posts in various departments of the state government will be filled. Of these, the maximum 1138 posts are in the Animal and Fisheries Resources Department, while 500 posts have been fixed in the Building Construction Department. The remaining posts will be filled in other departments.
Qualification and Age Limit
To apply for this post, the candidate must have passed the 10th (Matriculation) from a recognized board. Age will be calculated on the basis of 1st August 2025.
General Category (Male): 18 to 37 years
General Category (Female): Maximum 40 years
OBC/EBC: Maximum 40 years
SC/ST: Maximum 42 years
Selection Process
Selection will be done in two stages:
Prelims:
Total 100 objective type questions
Subjects: General Studies (40 marks), Mathematics (30 marks), General Hindi (30 marks)
Exam Duration: 2 hours
Negative marking of 4 marks for correct answer, 1 mark for wrong answer
Mains:
Will be conducted for the candidates successful in the preliminary examination
Application Fee
General/OBC/EBC (Male) and all categories of other states: Rs 540
SC/ST (Bihar residents only), Divyang, all female candidates of Bihar: Rs 135, fee will be paid through online mode.
