The Bihar Staff Selection Commission (BSSC) has announced recruitment for 379 posts of Sports Trainer in the Sports Department. Applications have been open since October 9, 2025. Educational Qualification and Eligibility
Applicants must possess a graduate degree from a recognized university. In addition, they must have a diploma or PG diploma in Sports Coaching from the Netaji Subhas National Institute of Sports (NSNIS), Gwalior, Lakshmibai National Institute of Physical Education (LNIPE), Central Sports University (UGC recognized), or any other recognized university (including institutions in Bihar). The minimum age for male applicants is 21 years and the maximum age is 37 years. The maximum age for General category women, Backward Classes (BC), and Extremely Backward Classes (EBC) (male and female) is 40 years. The maximum age for SC and ST candidates (male and female) is 42 years.
