Bihar Sports Service: Online applications have been invited from eligible Indian candidates for appointment to various posts in the Bihar Sports Service Cadre under the Bihar Sports Department. A total of 33 vacancies include District Sports Officer, Assistant Director (Sports/Youth), Lecturer. Candidates can apply by visiting the official website of the Bihar Public Service Commission. Online applications will start from September 2, 2025, and can be submitted till September 26, 2025.

Who can apply?
Candidate must have a graduation degree from a recognized university and a Diploma/Post-Graduate Diploma in Sports Coaching from the National Institute of Sports or a recognized Sports University.
Also, the candidate must have represented the country or state in recognized competitions or participated in prescribed national/inter-service/all-India competitions.
Age limit
The minimum age of the candidates should be 21 years as on 01.08.2025 to apply. The maximum age is fixed as follows: Unreserved male 37 years, Backward/Extremely Backward Classes (male and female) and Unreserved female 40 years, and Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe (male and female) 42 years.
Selection process
The selection in this recruitment will be done in three stages. In the first stage, the candidates will be tested in Hindi and two multiple-choice (MCQ) papers. In the second stage, their sports achievements certificate and graduation certificate will be checked, and the marks of the sports coaching course will be checked. In the third and final stage, the candidates will be interviewed.
This much will be the application fee.
For this recruitment, every candidate will have to pay an examination fee of Rs 100. Apart from this, some charges will also be levied by the bank while making an online payment. If any candidate has not given an Aadhaar number in the application, he/she will have to pay an additional Biometric fee of Rs 200.
