Who can apply for the BSNL SET Recruitment?
To apply for the Senior Executive Trainee Telecom Operations position, candidates must have a full-time Bachelor of Engineering/Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degree in Electronics & Telecommunications/Electronics/Computer Science/Information Technology/Electrical/Instrumentation with a minimum of 60% marks.
For the Senior Executive Trainee position in Finance, applicants must have a Chartered Accountant (CA) or Cost and Management Accountancy (CMA) degree. No experience requirements are required beyond the educational qualifications. Therefore, candidates who are freshers and have no experience other than a degree can also apply.

Part 1 will be common for both SET Telecom and Finance posts. In which 40 questions related to the aptitude test will be asked. Apart from this, questions from core subjects will be asked in the second part. In this, 160 questions from the technical test will be asked in telecom, and 160 questions related to the finance test will be asked in finance. Negative marking of 0.25 marks will also be applicable in the exam. General category candidates need 50 percent marks overall in both Part I and Part II to pass. Whereas for SC/ST/OBC, PWBD, and EWS candidates, the qualifying marks will be 45 percent combined.
