BSF Recruitment and Eligibility

A total of 391 posts will be filled under this recruitment drive. Of these, 197 posts are reserved for male candidates and 194 for female candidates. To apply for these positions, candidates must have passed the 10th standard from a recognized board. It is also mandatory to have participated in a national or international sports competition or won a medal. The minimum age for this recruitment is 18 years, and the maximum age is 23 years. Candidates from reserved categories will be given age relaxation as per the rules. Furthermore, age will be calculated as of August 1, 2025.

Selection Process and Salary

Selection for this BSF recruitment will be based on a physical test, document verification, physical standard test, and detailed medical examination. There will be no written examination for this recruitment. Admit cards will be made available to candidates both by mail and on the BSF's official website. Selected candidates will receive a salary under the Level 3 pay scale, ranging from ₹21,700 to ₹69,100 per month. Candidates will also receive other central government allowances. General and OBC candidates applying for BSF recruitment will have to pay a fee of ₹159, while SC and ST candidates are exempted from the application fee.
