BSF Constable Recruitment 2025: Recruitment for more than 3 thousand constable posts..

Border Security Force is accepting applications from female and male candidates to apply for the post of Constable (Tradesman). A total of 3588 constable posts have been recruited by the Border Security Force, out of which 3406 posts have been reserved for male candidates and 182 posts for female candidates. The application process for the posts of constable has started. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online by visiting the official website rectt.bsf.gov.in till August 23, 2025.

Age Limit

The minimum age of the candidates to apply for the post of constable has been fixed at 18 years, and the maximum age at 25 years. Apart from this, age relaxation will also be provided to the candidates of the special category. SC and ST candidates will be given 5 5-year relaxation in the age limit, and OBC candidates will be given 3 3-year relaxation in the age limit.

Examination Fee

To apply for the post of constable, candidates have to deposit Rs 100 as an examination fee. Apart from this, SC & ST and female candidates will not have to pay the examination fee.

Educational Qualification and Pay Scale

To apply, the candidates must have completed class 10th from a recognized board in India. Apart from this, the candidates should have done a two-year certificate course in the relevant trade. The selected candidates will be given a salary ranging from Rs 21,700 to Rs 69,100 per month.

How will the selection be done?

Candidates will be selected in three phases. PST and PET tests will be done in the first phase, the written examination in the second phase, and document verification in the third phase. In the written examination, candidates will be asked 100 multiple-choice type questions of 100 marks from subjects like general awareness, mathematics, English, Hindi, etc. The duration of the examination has been fixed for two hours, in which candidates will be asked questions at the 10th class level.
