Bihar Police Sub-ordinate Service Commission (BPSSC) has released recruitment for 305 vacant posts of Steno Assistant Sub-Inspector. The application process for this recruitment has been started from today i.e. 17 December 2024. Candidates who fulfill the eligibility for this recruitment and want to join the police department can complete the application process through online mode by visiting the official website of BPSC bpssc.bihar.gov.in. The last date to fill out the application form has been fixed as 17 January 2025.

12th passed candidates can participate in the recruitment

To apply for ASI Steno posts, the candidate must have passed the minimum Intermediate (10+2) examination or equivalent. Along with this, by August 1, 2024, the candidate must have a diploma certificate from a government-recognized institute in computer operation.

Age Limit
To participate in this recruitment, the minimum age of the candidate has been fixed at 18 years and the maximum age at 25 years. Candidates coming from reserved categories will be given relaxation in upper age as per rules. Keep in mind that the age will be calculated keeping in mind 1st August 2024.

Click on the application link related to recruitment on the home page of the website.

Now on the new portal, first register by clicking on Register and Make Payment and deposit the prescribed fee.

Complete the application process by filling in other information in Step 2.

Finally, by clicking on View Application Status in Step 3, you can check the status of the form as well as take a printout of it.

Application Fee
Along with filling out the application form for this recruitment, candidates of General, OBC, EWS, and other states will have to deposit Rs 700 as an application fee. The application fee for SC, and ST female candidates of Bihar state has been fixed at Rs 400.
