BPSC Vacancy 2025: There's good news for young people preparing for government jobs in Bihar. The Bihar Staff Selection Commission (BPSC) has increased the number of vacancies in the Urban Development and Housing Department. The Commission announced this through a notice on its official website, bpsc.bihar.gov.in.

The BPSC had sought the position of Assistant Public Sanitation and Waste Management Officer under the Urban Development and Housing Department, Bihar. Initially, a total of 54 vacancies were to be filled through this recruitment drive, but this has now been increased to 60.

Applications will continue until September 30th.
Candidates who have not yet completed their application form can do so until September 30th. Interested and eligible candidates must complete the application form online by visiting the BPSC's official website, https://bpsc.bihar.gov.in.

Educational Qualification
A graduate degree in a relevant subject from a recognized university or college is required. Candidates with a BE, BTech, or BSc degree have a good chance of securing a government job.

Age Limit
Eligible candidates must be at least 21 years old and a maximum of 37 years old as of August 1, 2025. Relaxation in the upper age limit will be applicable for reserved category candidates as per government regulations. Women in the general category who are 40 years old can also fill out the form. Candidates are advised to check the notification for more information regarding educational qualifications and age limit.

Salary Requirements?
Candidates seeking the Assistant Public Sanitary and Waste Management Officer position in Bihar will receive a good salary under the 7th Pay Commission. However, the pay level has not been disclosed.
