There's good news for those preparing for the Bihar Teacher Recruitment 2026 (BPSC TRE 4). The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has announced the exam schedule for the BPSC TRE 4.0. According to the notification issued by the Commission, the exam for this recruitment will be conducted from September 22nd to September 27th, 2026, at designated examination centers across the state.

Result Date Also Announced
After the completion of the exam, the result will be declared in November 2026. Candidates who achieve the required cutoff marks in the written examination will be appointed after document verification.

Recruitment for 46,595 Posts
According to details shared by the Bihar Public Service Commission, a requisition has been received from the General Administration Department regarding the Teacher Recruitment TRE 4. A total of 46,595 vacant posts will be filled. Of these, approximately 10,500 posts are reserved for classes 1 to 5 (primary schools), approximately 9,500 for classes 6 to 8 (middle schools), and approximately 25,000 for classes 9 to 12 (secondary and higher secondary). Detailed information about the posts will be shared upon the release of the notification.

Applications will begin in March.
The BPSSC recruitment process will begin next month, in March 2026. Application fees, eligibility, and other details will be shared with the notification.

35% of seats will be reserved for women
It should be noted that 35% of the total posts will be reserved for women candidates. However, this time, the one-candidate-one-result rule will apply to recruitment. Candidates will no longer be selected for all three levels: primary, middle, and secondary. In previous recruitments, candidates can be selected for any one level.
