BPSC TRE 4.0: The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has released a new notification for the fourth phase of teacher recruitment (TRE 4.0). A total of 32,388 posts will be filled through this recruitment drive. According to the notification, the online application process will begin on September 25. The deadline for filling out the application form is October 26, 2026, while the last date to submit the application fee is October 25. Candidates can apply by visiting the official BPSC website, bpsc.bihar.gov.in. In the meantime, candidates should keep their necessary documents ready and fill out the form in accordance with the new notification once the application link becomes active.

The Bihar Public Service Commission has cancelled the previously issued notification (Advertisement No. 14/2026) and released a new one. The initial recruitment notification was issued on August 18.

BPSC TRE 4.0: Vacancy Details
Regarding the vacancy details, out of the 32,388 total vacancies, there are 3,847 seats for Classes 1 to 5; 8,563 seats for Classes 6 to 8; 3,877 seats for Classes 9-10; and 16,101 seats for Classes 11-12.

Why was the notification cancelled?

Candidates had protested regarding the fourth phase of teacher recruitment. One of their key demands was the removal of the two-stage exam pattern (prelims and mains) in favor of a single examination. Consequently, the government cancelled the old recruitment notification and issued a new one. It is worth noting that the TRE-1, TRE-2, and TRE-3 recruitments also featured a single-stage selection process.

Do not consider the previous exam dates for TRE 4 as final. The exam schedule has been revised following changes to the application process, and information regarding the new exam date will be based on the Commission's latest updates.
