The long wait for the fourth phase of the teacher recruitment examination (TRE-4) is finally over for aspiring candidates. The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) released the notification for the fourth phase of the teacher recruitment exam this evening.

Candidates were delighted when the advertisement for the recruitment of 32,388 teachers was released on Tuesday evening. The highest number of vacancies—16,101—has been allocated for teachers of classes 11 and 12. Additionally, a significant number of vacancies have been announced for the primary and secondary levels.

Classes 1 to 5: 3,847 posts
Classes 6 to 8: 8,563 posts
Classes 9 to 10: 3,877 posts
Classes 11 to 12: 16,101 posts
Total posts: 32,388

Deputy CM Samrat Chaudhary: Teacher shortage will be resolved
It is worth noting that Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary had recently shared information regarding BPSC TRE-4 on social media. At that time, he stated that the Education Department had sent the requisition to the BPSC. He further mentioned that his government is continuously working to provide maximum employment opportunities to the youth and to elevate Bihar's education system to new heights. He expressed confidence that this recruitment process would not only provide government jobs to thousands of young people but also address the shortage of teachers in the state's schools.

Teacher aspirants staging a sit-in protest today
Teacher aspirants had been demanding the release of the TRE-4 advertisement for several months. Today, hundreds of aspirants, led by student leader Dilip Kumar, are staging a protest at the Gardanibagh protest site. They are protesting to demand the release of the TRE-4 advertisement, BSSC exam dates, librarian recruitment, and transparency in various competitive exams, including BET, Sub-Inspector (Daroga), Constable, and BSSC exams. In light of the aspirants' demands, the BPSC released the advertisement for the teacher recruitment examination today.
