BPSC Polytechnic HOD 2025: Bihar Public Service Commission has issued a notification for the appointment of more than 200 posts of Head of Department in Government Polytechnic / Government Women's Polytechnic Institutes of the state. BPSC Polytechnic HOD Vacancy: A Total of 218 posts will be recruited

Through this recruitment drive, a total of 218 posts of Head of Department will be filled in various departments, including Mechanical Engineering, CS Engineering, and Electronics Engineering. Along with the prescribed eligibility, experience has also been sought. The application process will start from September 2 and will end on September 30. Interested candidates will be able to apply through the official website when the registration starts.

Who can apply

The educational qualification prescribed to apply is generally a PhD degree. Apart from this, there should also be experience in the relevant field.

The age of the applicant should be a minimum of 33 years as on August 01, 2025. The maximum age limit has not been fixed.

Department-wise eligibility criteria have been prescribed separately. In such a situation, read the official notification before applying.

This much salary will be given.
If selected, the starting salary will be Rs 1,31,400 per month under pay level 13A1.

How will the selection be done?

There is no provision of any written examination for selection in this recruitment. Eligible candidates will be selected on the basis of academic background, academic performance, knowledge of the field, teaching skills and interview.
