BPSC Recruitment 2025: Recruitment for 590 posts of Principal and Associate Professor in Bihar, apply from August 18

Bihar Public Service Commission has released a big recruitment for the posts of Principal and Associate Professor in Engineering and Polytechnic Colleges. Interested candidates will be able to apply online from 18 August to 12 September 2025.

Bihar Public Service Commission has released recruitment for 590 posts of Principal and Associate Professor in Engineering and Polytechnic Colleges, so all the interested candidates can apply online from 18 August to 12 September 2025. According to the notification, a PhD and teaching/research experience are necessary. You can apply on the official website bpsc.bih.nic.in.

Under this recruitment, a total of 564 posts of Principal and Associate Professor will be recruited in the state. Of these, 539 posts are reserved for Associate Professor and 25 posts for Principal. Let us know who can apply for these posts.

Required Educational Qualification

The candidate must have a PhD in the relevant subject and a minimum of 8 years of teaching or research experience is required. Also, subject expertise, research work and academic achievements will be given special importance in the selection process. For the post of Principal, the candidate should have a PhD in the relevant engineering branch and at least 15 years of experience, which can be in teaching, research or industry. This experience will be helpful in effectively conducting the academic, administrative and development work of the institute.

Age Limit

The minimum age of the applicant should be 31 years. The maximum age limit is 65 years as per the post. Reserved category candidates will be given relaxation in the maximum age as per government rules. Age will be calculated as per the date specified in the advertisement.
