BPSC HOD Recruitment 2025: Bihar Public Service Commission has started the registration process for appointment to more than 200 posts of Head of Department in Government Polytechnic / Government Women Polytechnic Institutes of the state. Through this recruitment campaign, Bihar Public Service Commission will fill a total of 218 posts of Head of Department in various departments, including Mechanical Engineering, CS Engineering, Electronics Engineering. Along with the prescribed eligibility, experience has also been sought. The application process is going to start from September 2 and will run till September 30, 2025.

BPSC Polytechnic HOD Eligibility: Who can apply

The educational qualification prescribed to apply is generally a PhD degree. Apart from this, there should also be experience in the relevant field.

The age of the applicant should be a minimum of 33 years as on August 01, 2025. The maximum age limit has not been fixed.

How will the selection be done?

There is no provision of any written examination for selection in this recruitment. Eligible candidates will be selected on the basis of academic background, academic performance, knowledge of the field, teaching skills, and interview. If selected, the starting salary will be Rs 1,31,400 per month under Pay Level 13A1.
