The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has reopened the online registration form for the recruitment of a total of 935 Assistant Education Development Officer (AEDO) posts. Candidates who were unable to apply for the BPSC AEDO Vacancy can now apply for these posts. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for these positions until December 12, 2025. The examination will be conducted between January 10 and 16, 2026.

Salary:
Selected candidates for these posts will be provided a monthly salary of Rs. 29,202.
Eligibility Criteria:
To apply for the AEDO posts, candidates must be graduates from a recognized institution in India.
The age of the candidates will be calculated as of August 1, 2025.
The minimum age for candidates is 21 years, the maximum age for general category candidates is 37 years, the maximum age for OBC candidates is 40 years, and the maximum age for SC and ST candidates is 42 years.
All candidates will have to pay an examination fee. The examination fee is Rs. 100 for all categories of candidates.
Selection Process:
Candidates will be selected on the basis of a written examination. The written examination will consist of three papers. Each paper will have 100 multiple-choice questions carrying 100 marks. The first paper will be on General Language, the second paper on General Studies, and the third paper on General Aptitude. There will be a negative marking of one-third of a mark for each incorrect answer. The duration of each paper is two hours.
