Bihar Sarkari Vacancy: Bihar Staff Selection Commission has started the application process for BSSC CGL 4 and Office Attendant Recruitment 2025. There will be recruitment for 5208 vacancies for both these posts. Through Bihar CGL, there will be recruitment for 1481 posts in six departments of the state. Whereas, there are 3727 vacancies for Office Attendant.
The online application for Bihar CGL was earlier scheduled to start on August 18. But it was postponed. Now it has started on August 25. Application for both recruitments has to be done by visiting the BSSC portal https://www.onlinebssc.com/. Let us tell you that the last date to apply for both the recruitments is 25 September.
Application fee reduced
Bihar Staff Selection Commission has changed the notification of CGL and Office Attendant recruitments. The application fee has been reduced to Rs 100 for all the candidates. Earlier, the application fee for male candidates of the general/backward class and the extremely backward class was Rs 540. While for SC/ST, Divyang, and all women of Bihar, it was Rs 135.

The age limit for this is 18 to 37 years. Women of the unreserved category, backward class, and extremely backward class candidates will get a year's relaxation in the maximum age limit. SC and ST will get a year's relaxation.

The candidates will be selected after the preliminary examination and main examination.
4. Preliminary exam pattern
100 objective-type questions will be asked in this. This exam will be for two hours. There will also be a minus marking of one mark in the exam.
5. Qualifying marks in prelims and mains
The qualifying marks are 40% for the unreserved category, 36.5% for the backward class, 34% for the extremely backward class, 32% for SC/ST, 32% for women, and Divyang.
