Bihar SHS Laboratory Technician Jobs: This is a golden opportunity for the youth looking for government jobs in Bihar. A total of 1068 posts will be recruited under this recruitment campaign. In this, candidates will be appointed to both the posts of Lab Technician and Senior Lab Technician. Eligible candidates can apply for these posts on the basis of their educational qualifications and experience.

Educational Qualification

For the post of Senior Lab Technician, the candidate must have DMLT with MSc (Medical Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, etc.) or BSc (Microbiology, Biotechnology, Life Science, etc.). Apart from this, the candidate should have 2 to 3 years of work experience in genotypic or phenotypic testing related to TB lab tests.

At the same time, for the post of Lab Technician, the candidate must have passed 10+2 (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology) with subjects and have done a BMLT or DMLT Diploma from a recognized institute.

Age Limit

The age of the candidates for Bihar SHS Lab Technician Recruitment 2025 will be calculated on the basis of 1st April 2025. The minimum age limit in this recruitment has been fixed at 21 years. The maximum age limit is determined separately for each category.

General/EWS (Male): 37 years
OBC/EBC (Male & Female): 40 years
General/EWS (Female): 40 years
SC/ST (Male & Female): 42 years
Application Fee
The application fee for this recruitment has been fixed category-wise. General category, OBC, EBC, and EWS candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs 500. This fee has been kept at Rs 125 for SC and ST candidates of the state. Similarly, women candidates of Bihar and 40% or more disabled candidates will also have to pay only Rs 125. At the same time, women and male candidates of all categories of other states will have to deposit an application fee of Rs 500.
