The State Health Committee, Bihar, has issued an official notification for the vacancies on the posts of ANM. Candidates who want to work in the posts of ANM in Bihar can apply online by visiting the official website. A total of 5006 candidates will be appointed for the recruitment of ANM posts by the State Health Committee, Bihar. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online by visiting the official website shs.bihar.gov.in till August 28, 2025.
Age Limit
The minimum age of the candidates to apply for the posts of ANM has been fixed at 21 years. Apart from this, the maximum age of General, EWS, and OBC female candidates has been fixed at 40 years, and the age of SC and ST female candidates has been fixed at 42 years.
Educational Qualification
To apply for the posts of ANM, it is necessary that the candidates have done a two-year Diploma in Auxiliary Nurse or Midwifery from a recognized institute in India. Apart from this, the candidate must be registered in the Bihar Nurse Registration Counseling.
Application fee
Candidates will also have to pay the application fee to apply. The application fee for general, OBC, EWS candidates is Rs 500, for SC & ST, and general women and disabled candidates, the application fee is Rs 125.
How will the selection be done?
Candidates will be selected on the basis of a written examination and document verification. In the written examination, candidates will be asked multiple choice type questions of 100 marks. This examination will be conducted in computer mode. There is no provision of negative marking for wrong answers in this two-hour examination. Candidates who have passed this examination will be called for document verification.
