Bihar Police SI Qualification: Qualification
To fill out the application form for this latest government job of Bihar Enforcement Sub Inspector (SI), candidates must have graduation or equivalent qualification from a recognized university by 1 August 2025. Candidates must be Indian citizens. Male, female, and third-gender candidates can apply. Bihar SI Salary: Age Limit
Age Limit- The age limit of the candidates will be calculated based on 1 August 2025. The age of the candidates has been fixed at a minimum of 21 years for unreserved men and maximum age of 37 years for women and 40 years. For backward-class, extremely backward-class category men, women, and third-gender candidates, the age limit should be 21 years and the maximum age should be 40 years. For SC, ST men and women, the age limit has been fixed as 21 and the maximum age as 42 years.
Height- The minimum height for men should be 165 cm and for women 150 cm. The chest of a man should be 79 cm without inflating and 84 cm after inflating.
Physical- Men will be given 4 hours to walk 25 km. Whereas women will have to walk 14 km in 4 hours.
Salary- Candidates selected for promotion sub-inspector will get a salary per month as per pay level 6.
Selection Process- Will be based on written tests, physical tests, and interviews. The interview will be of total 30 marks. Whose marks will be added to the marks obtained in the written examination? After which the final merit list will be prepared.
The preliminary examination of the written examination will be of 200 marks. In which the number of questions will be 100 and the duration of the exam will be 3 hours. Candidates who score less than 30 percent marks in the preliminary examination will be selected for the main examination. There will be a negative marking of 0.2 in both the stages of the examination.
