Eligibility Criteria

• Education: Minimum 12th pass (Intermediate) or equivalent from a recognized board.

• Driver Post: Must hold a valid two-wheeler/four-wheeler Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) or Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) license issued on or before 26 September 2025.

• Age Limit:

  • General: 18–25 years

  • Jail Warder: 18–23 years

  • Age relaxation as per Bihar government norms for reserved categories.

Physical Standards

• Height:

  • Male (General/OBC): 165 cm

  • Male (EBC/SC/ST): 160 cm

  • Female: 155 cm

• Chest (Male): 81 cm (unexpanded) and 86 cm (expanded).

Selection Process

The recruitment will be conducted in three stages:

1. Written Examination – Candidates must score at least 30% to qualify.

2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET) – Includes running and other physical activities.

3. Document Verification & Medical Examination.

Salary

Selected candidates will receive a monthly pay according to Level-2 and Level-3 of the 7th Pay Commission.
