Number of Vacancies
According to the notification issued by the Bihar Police Subordinate Services Commission, a total of 64 Havildar Clerk posts will be filled. Interested and eligible candidates can apply on the official BPSSC website, bpssc.bihar.gov.in. The application process will last for one month, so don't wait until the last date and apply in time.
Eligibility Criteria
Only candidates who are at least 18 years old and a maximum of 37 years old can apply for this post. This age limit is for male candidates. For female candidates, the maximum age limit is 40 years. Candidates from reserved categories will be given age relaxation as per government rules. In addition, candidates must have passed the 12th standard to apply for the Havildar Clerk post.
Selection Process
The selection of candidates will be done in two stages. The first stage will be a written examination, and the second stage will be a physical efficiency test. Only candidates who pass the written examination will be eligible to appear for the physical test.
The written examination will be of 100 marks, consisting of 100 multiple-choice questions. A minimum of 30 percent marks is required to pass the written examination. Candidates scoring less than 30 percent will not be considered eligible for the physical test.
The physical efficiency test will also be of 100 marks. It includes running, shot put, and high jump. Candidates who pass the physical test will be selected.
