There's good news for young people dreaming of a government job in the police department. The Central Selection Board for Constable Recruitment (CSBC) has opened the application process to fill 993 vacant police constable operator positions. Candidates can apply online by visiting the CSBC's official website, csbc.bihar.gov.in, or by clicking on the direct link on this page. The deadline for filling out the form is March 31, 2026.

To apply for the constable operator position, candidates must have completed 10+2 (Intermediate/Science) or its equivalent from a recognized board.
General category candidates must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry, while SC/ST candidates must have obtained a minimum of 45% marks.
The minimum age of the candidate must be 18 years and not more than 25 years. Reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per the rules.
Age will be calculated as of August 1, 2026.
