The Bihar Technical Service Commission (BTSC) has started the application process for a total of 1907 vacancies for the posts of Hostel Manager, Dental Hygienist, and Work Inspector. According to the new notice issued by the commission, applications for these positions were initially scheduled to be accepted from October 10, 2025, to November 10, 2025, but the process was stopped midway for some reason. Now, applications have resumed from December 5, 2025. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online within the stipulated time frame.

Number of Posts and Eligibility
Hostel Manager
There are a total of 91 posts for the Hostel Manager. A B.Sc. in Hospitality and Hotel Administration or a graduate degree with a Post Graduate Diploma in Hotel Management is required.

Dental Hygienist
702 posts are available for Dental Hygienists. Candidates must have studied Biology in 12th grade, along with a 2-year diploma from a recognized institution and registration with the Bihar State Dental Council.

Work Inspector
There are 1114 posts for Work Inspector.  A 10th-grade pass and a certificate in Draftsman Civil, Surveyor, or Plumber trade from an ITI (Industrial Training Institute) are mandatory.
