Daily Allowance Increased
The state government has also announced an increase in the daily allowance for Home Guards. Previously, Home Guards received ₹774 as a daily duty allowance, but now they will receive ₹1,121 per day.

Eligibility for Home Guard Positions
To apply for Bihar Home Guard positions, candidates must have passed Class 10th/12th. Additionally, the minimum age must be no less than 20 years and no more than 40 years. Detailed eligibility criteria will be released soon with the release of a detailed notification.

How will the selection be conducted?
Selection for this recruitment will be conducted at the district level. A physical test will be conducted for selection to Bihar Home Guard positions. Candidates will be placed on the final merit list based on their scores in the physical test. Candidates must be medically fit for selection.
