The Bihar Police Subordinate Services Commission (BPSSC) has started the application process for the recruitment of Bihar Police Havildar Clerk positions today, January 2nd. This is a golden opportunity for candidates to apply for these positions. A total of 64 Havildar Clerk positions will be filled through this recruitment process. Interested and eligible candidates can apply on the official website bpssc.bihar.gov.in until February 2nd, 2026.

Age Limit
The age of the candidates will be calculated as of August 1st, 2025. The minimum age for candidates is 18 years. The maximum age for male candidates is 37 years, and for female candidates, it is 40 years. Relaxation in the age limit will be provided to candidates belonging to reserved categories.

Educational Qualification
To apply for these positions, candidates must have passed Class 12th from a recognized institution in India.

Selection Process
The selection of candidates will be based on a written examination and a physical efficiency test. The written examination will consist of 100 multiple-choice questions worth 100 marks, covering subjects such as Hindi, English, Mathematics, Social Science, Science, General Knowledge, and Current Affairs at the Class 10th level. Candidates scoring less than 30 percent in the written examination will not be declared successful for the physical efficiency test.

PET Exam Pattern
The physical efficiency test will also be conducted for 100 marks. In this test, male candidates will have to complete a 1.6-kilometer run within 6 minutes, and female candidates will have to complete a one-kilometer run within 5 minutes. Additionally, there will be a shot put event for 25 marks and a high jump event for 25 marks.

Application Fee
All candidates are required to pay an application fee. The application fee is Rs. 100.
