What will be the salary of a Junior Resident?
Candidates who get a government job as a Junior Resident in Bihar will be given a salary of Rs. 65,000/- (Sixty-five thousand) per month. No other allowances/provident fund or pension fund will be applicable/payable. Who can apply?
Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess an MBBS degree recognized/approved by the Medical Council of India/National Medical Commission. Please note that regular employees already working in the Bihar Health Service Cadre are not eligible to apply for this post.
Age Limit: Candidates' maximum age should be 37 years as of August 1, 2025. However, women and candidates from reserved categories will be given relaxation in the upper age limit as per government rules. The maximum age is 37 years for Unreserved (Male), 40 years for Unreserved (Female), 40 years for Backward Classes and Extremely Backward Classes (Male and Female), and 42 years for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Male and Female). Disabled candidates will be given a relaxation of up to 10 years in the upper age limit, meaning even a 47-year-old disabled person can fill out the application form for this recruitment.
