The application process began at 10:00 AM on August 7, 2026, and candidates can submit their forms until 6:00 PM on August 21. The cutoff date for determining eligibility is August 1, 2026.
**Who Can Apply?**
Candidates must possess an MBBS degree from a recognized institution along with an MD, MS, DNB, or Diploma in the relevant specialty. Additionally, registration with the Bihar Medical Council or the NMC is mandatory. The minimum age limit is 21 years. The maximum age limit is 37 years for unreserved/EWS male candidates, 40 years for candidates belonging to Backward Classes/Extremely Backward Classes and unreserved female candidates, and 42 years for SC/ST candidates.
**Selection Based on Merit; Salary Details**
Selection for this recruitment will be based on a merit system totaling 100 marks. MBBS marks will carry a weightage of 60 marks, while the PG degree will carry 40 marks. A weightage of 30 marks is allocated for a Diploma. Document verification will take place following the selection process. Depending on the position and posting, selected doctors may receive a monthly salary ranging from ₹90,000 to ₹1.20 lakh.
